VINCENT YEOH

Awarded the Singapore Merit Scholarship to read law at National University of Singapore, Vincent Yeoh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Second Class Honours) degree in 1985 and a Master of Laws (First in Class) degree in 1988.  Vincent Yeoh served in the State Courts and the Supreme Court of Singapore before entering private practice.  He has also taught Business Law at Nanyang Technological University.

He focuses on property law and commercial law.

He has been appointed to the Singapore Academy of Law’s Panel to Review Conveyancing Practice, he has sat in the Conveyancing Practice Committee of the Singapore Law Society, and has represented the legal fraternity in dialogues concerning property law and practice with the Singapore Land Authority, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and the Association of Banks of Singapore.  He is appointed as Adjudicator under the Conveyancing and Law of Property Act to resolve conveyancing disputes among lawyers.  He handles all property transactions including sales, purchases, loans and mortgages, REITs and project developments.  He is a pioneer in enbloc sale and joint venture redevelopment.

He advises on and structures commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, franchising and distribution.  Fluent in Indonesian, Malay and Chinese, he advises on and structures cross-border investments in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and China in various sectors including plantation, hotel, property development, mining and telecommunication.

He conducts commercial and property litigations in the State Courts, the High Court and the Court of Appeal of Singapore.
